Translating your menu to English

Your menu page supports Arabic and English, and the English button at the top switches the language for the customer. Instead of typing every item twice, AI translates it for you.

Available on the Premium and Business plans. On the Free plan customers see the names as you wrote them.

Steps

1. From Menu find the Translate your menu to English with AI card.
2. Press Translate now. It takes a few seconds to a minute depending on the menu size, so keep the page open.
3. Open your restaurant page and choose English to see the result.

What is translated?

Category and item names, item descriptions, size and add-on names, and the restaurant description. Prices and numbers stay as they are.

When you edit a text

If you change an item's name or description, its old translation is cleared and customers see the original text until you press Translate now again; AI translates only the texts that have no translation. To redo the whole menu press Translate again.

Tips

• Check the names of well-known dishes after translating; you may prefer to spell them your own way.
• Translation goes to English only. A menu written in English stays as it is on the Arabic page.
• If you return to the Free plan, translations stay saved but hidden, and come back as soon as you subscribe again.
